About DebtPayoffHub

DebtPayoffHub was built in 2026 by a small team that has, collectively, paid off six figures of consumer debt. We were frustrated by the existing options: Undebt.it made us create an account just to run a basic calculation, Bankrate buried its tools under five ads and three sponsored offers, and NerdWallet's calculator only showed one number instead of comparing strategies. So we built our own.

Our mission

Give anyone with credit card debt or student loans a clear, honest picture of where their money is going 鈥?and exactly what to change to get out faster. No account required. No data collected. No financial products to sell you.

What makes us different

  • No signup, ever. Every calculator on this site works the moment you open it. Your numbers never leave your browser.
  • Side-by-side comparisons. Most debt tools show you one strategy. We show you Snowball vs Avalanche, Pay-Debt vs Invest, and Minimum vs Aggressive 鈥?so you can pick with confidence.
  • Built for three regions. Our calculators use models that work for U.S., U.K., and Australian credit cards, student loans, and mortgages.
  • Educational first. Every tool comes with a plain-English explanation of the math and 5 honest FAQs.

How we make money

This site is free to use. We earn revenue from non-intrusive display advertising (clearly labeled) and may eventually add affiliate partnerships with reputable debt-management services. We will never sell or share your inputs 鈥?there's nothing to sell, because we don't collect them.

Who we are not

We are not licensed financial advisors. We do not offer personalized advice. Our calculators are educational tools 鈥?useful starting points, not substitutes for professional guidance on complex situations (bankruptcy, tax-loss situations, divorce proceedings, etc.). When in doubt, talk to a fiduciary financial planner or a nonprofit credit counselor (look for a National Foundation for Credit Counseling member in the U.S.).
